Someone calls you up. Don’t know who it is.
He talks to you for 1 minute and 36 seconds and immediately asks if you can buy something for $274.Would you buy it? Of course not! You wouldn't buy something that expensive right off the bat from a stranger, right?
So, let’s not be weird and push people to do something unreasonable.
What is the best way to sell your service?
It’s by using something called 2-step lead generation.
2-step lead generation is when you don’t try and make them pay $274 on your first interaction.
Instead, you simply reach out and provide help using a lead magnet.
So you run an ad, ask if they find xyz difficult, then you send them to your lead magnet.
Then, you make sure you retarget those that want your help and provide your services.
For example, if you cut trees or their branches for people in their backyard, you run an ad that says, “If you want to learn how to cut your tree branches safely, download my guide.” You know that whoever downloaded your guide is 99.97% sure they need some help AND you also skip past everyone who wasn’t really interested in your tree branch cutting services.
So, you run another ad, but it’s only shown to those who did download your guide.
Something like, “I see you downloaded my guide on how to cut tree branches safely. If you want, I could do it for you. Click the button below and get a free quote."
They’re already interested in your business’ service. Of course the chances they say “yes” just skyrocketed.
It really feels like a magic trick.
Who can use 2-step lead generation?
Every business.
Every. Single. One.
It doesn’t matter if you’re getting clients, or if you’re selling to customers, it works in every scenario.
You can be a plumber, a realtor, a dog trainer, a coach, or whatever and it will still work!

Create the retargeting ad

Ex: Schedule quote, "contact me” page on your website, etc.
Watch as your emails gets flooded with people who want your help
It won’t take you 7 minutes and the results are worth it.

Usually, the lead magnet part is simple because it’s just about talking about what you know.
